PawSteps turns daily walking activity into a virtual travel journey. This policy explains what the app uses and why.

Data PawSteps uses

Daily step totals, read with your permission from Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android.
In-app progress such as routes, postcards, companions, coins, goals, and streaks.
Subscription status supplied by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. PawSteps does not receive complete payment-card details.
Device notification preferences and diagnostic information needed to operate the app.

How data is used

Step totals are used only to update route progress, activity summaries, and earned rewards. Health data is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with data brokers. PawSteps does not write information to Apple Health or Health Connect.

Storage and deletion

Journey progress is stored on the device. Reward-integrity markers are stored in protected device storage. You can delete local journey data from You → Data & progress. Apple Health data must be managed in system settings.

Permissions

Health, motion, and notification access are optional and may be changed in system settings. Denying health access disables automatic route progress but does not prevent access to privacy and purchase controls.

Children

PawSteps is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
